Description

Information is the foundation for company decisions, and therefore you need the right information at the right time. At IM you learn the different steps of the process of managing information – and you learn what kind of information is necessary in the different parts of the organisation.

In this profile, information is seen as a strategic resource to the company. It is an influencing factor in a company’s competitiveness, and successful information management is at the same time hard to imitate. Therefore, you will learn how to contribute to the day-to-day operations, but you will also get an understanding of how to change the process of information management, and thereby improve the functioning of the company.
You will learn the different steps of the process of managing information, and of understanding the organisation and the structure of a company, so that you can meet a company’s specific information management needs.
