Why did you choose to study in Denmark?

This is a very easy question. Denmark is an unknown and undiscovered country for the majority of the people living in Romania. Denmark is a special country and I chose to come here because of the adventurous spirit, I believe we all have.

What do you like the most about studying in Denmark?

The answer would be the same as to the first question (adventure): I like the fact that no one asks you to know everything by heart. Whenever I don’t know or understand something, I can always ask somebody. It is totally different in my country, where teachers expect students to know everything that has been said in all the classes. I feel pretty safe here and this makes me more relaxed.

What do you like most about Denmark and the Danes?

Yesterday when I worked for the first time with Danish people we discussed this topic. A Dane with a smile on his face, told me: “We like to do a good job, and we like to live exactly how we want. And we like beer.”

What don't you like about Denmark and the Danes?

The fact that Danes are too organised – a bit of chaos suits me much better than routine, strict rules and regulations.

Tell us about your best experience in Denmark

Denmark itself is my best experience. The fact that I am here gives me a lot of good adventures every day. Those are the best years of our lives, I know that, and I am trying to make the most of it while I can, because it will soon end and I won’t be able to change anything afterwards. All my memories are good and the best part is that I will have them for the rest of my life.

Do you have some advice on Danish student life in general?

Just do it. It's the best you can do. This is a unique place in the world and it has opportunities that are endless…
