Aalborg University moves into former Nokia headquarters in Copenhagen

With its main campus located in Denmark's fourth largest city (Aalborg), Aalborg University now extends its campus to the Danish capital with a continued focus on creating synergy between education, research and business
Aalborg University moves into former Nokia headquarters in Copenhagen

Aalborg University is expanding its educational and research activities in Copenhagen. With a new campus located in the attractive Copenhagen harbour area, the university will be gathering all of its activities in the capital city, students and staff in the former Nokia headquarters, covering a total of 42.500 m2.

The university's vice-chancellor, Finn Kjærsdam, expects the new campus to further strengthen an innovative research and study at Aalborg University, which will help to attract foreign investment to the Danish capital:

- "We are very satisfied that we are able to gather our activities for the Eastern part of Denmark and contribute to the development of a new model for how universities and companies collaborate. This corresponds with Aalborg University's goal that research should help to develop solutions in collaboration with private companies and public institutions."
