Denmark, Switzerland and the U.S. have the most satisfied international students

The Erasmus Student Network has published its annual survey of international student satisfaction. It shows that international students are most satisfied with studying in the U.S., Denmark and Switzerland

This year´s Erasmus Student Network (ESN) survey shows that international students are most satisfied with studying in the U.S., Denmark and Switzerland. The survey also shows that Denmark ranks above average when it comes to overall satisfaction with the stay.

The difference in study satisfaction and overall stay satisfaction underscores that the study abroad experience goes beyond the study experience per se and achievement of academic credentials. It´s also important to students that they feel welcome, safe and experience a socially stimulating student life.

Erasmus Survey in line with i-gradute survey
The high overall satisfaction among international students in Denmark, as shown in ESN survey, corresponds with the findings of the 2008 international i-graduate survey. Based on responses from 3,512 international students in Denmark, the i-graduate survey found that 93% of international students consider Denmark to be a safe country and 78% would recommend Denmark as a study destination.
