Description
You will among other things learn how to communicate and negotiate in an international and global context. If your company uses suppliers in China, Eastern Europe or The Baltics then you should be able to understand all these different corporate structures, cultures and practices. Both the written and unwritten rules are important when you communicate and cooperate.
The programme also focuses on media production issues in a global context. Today it is common practice to have a production setup where a company sends out work of masked exposed images to Bangladesh, the digital prepress setups to Singapore, the printing is made in Slovakia or China and people from Ukraine make the code work for websites. In this context, issues such as requirement specification and quality control will be essential.
The main emphasis of this course will focus on the Media Production workflow, processes, and the use of international process standards, quality management systems, environmental management systems and corporate social responsibility (CSR).
