The bachelor programme is a three-year programme where you will learn
about fundamental topics of mechanical engineering such as statics and
dynamics, but also about the development of mechanical mechanisms, advanced
materials, and simulations.
The education consists of a combination of theoretical courses and practical project works. From the get-go you will be part of a project group to work on a mechanical project based on industrial problems.
The education is in English in Sønderborg with a special focus on Mechatronic systems, Intelligent mechanical systems or Hydraulic systems and the program structure is described below.

To be eligible for
admission, you must hold a https://www.sdu.dk/en/uddannelse/bachelor/adgangskravhttp: qualifying upper secondary school degree, and you must have passed the following
courses:
You must fill out an online application form and attach relevant documentation via the Danish admission portal www.optagelse.dk. The application deadline for students with foreign degrees is March 15 at 12 noon.
The admission process
The study places are divided between two quotas, 'quota 1' and 'quota 2'. Within each of the two quotas, the study places are allocated based on different criteria.

Entry requirements
To be eligible for
admission, you must hold a https://www.sdu.dk/en/uddannelse/bachelor/adgangskravhttp: qualifying upper secondary school degree, and you must have passed the following
courses:
- Danish level A (Regarding the BSc in Odense)
- English level B (Regarding the BSc in Odense and Sønderborg - in Sønderborg it must be passed with a grade equivalent to 3.0 or higher in the Danish grading scale)
- Mathematics level A
- Physics level B and Chemistry level C
- Physics level B and Biotechnology level A
- Geoscience level A and Chemistry level C
