Description
The Master's programme offers a unique opportunity to study information science from a cultural perspective. As a Master of Science in Information Science and Cultural Communication, you will learn how to work analytically with complex problems and challenges in the interplay between people, IT, information and culture.During the 2-year program you work with theories and methods in relation to subjects such as: system evaluation, user studies, information architecture, knowledge organization, scholarly communication, bibliometric, information culture and design of interactive information spaces. In addition, you are offered a number of elective courses reflecting new research or courses with a practical approach.
Career Opportunities
Graduates of the programme have found employment in the following professions: information specialist, system consultant, webmaster, library consultant, researcher, IT consultant, tutor or a senior post in the library sector or a corporate information department.Admission Requirements
