Description
As a ensemble conductor or orchestral conductor, your principal study
will be in conducting. As an ensemble conductor, you will work with
string and wind ensembles and big bands, and can function as an ensemble
leader in both amateur and semi-professional music. Practical ensemble conducting will form an important part of the student's education. Here the student will be able to work intensively to develop and perfect his/hers conducting technique, and be coached in artistic interpretation and implementation.Read about the Orchestral Conductor Programme here.
Career Opportunities
Students of both ensemble and orchestral conducting will make the acquaintance of professionally-relevant ensembles. The Academy has good co-operation agreements with Copenhagen ensembles and the Danish regional orchestras.Admission
Applicants for Advanced Postgraduate level must apply online and attend
to a live audition. This applies for both EU/EEA applicants as well as Non-EU/EEA applicants.
