Danish universities among the best at producing employable graduates

The University of Copenhagen (KU) and the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) are among the four Nordic universities, which have been ranked among the top 100 universities in the world for delivering work-ready graduates

The University of Copenhagen is found at Nr. 51 while the Tecnical University of Copenhagen (DTU) has conquered the 76. spot. With more than 800 universities worldwide this is quite the achievement. 

The idea of employability is full of paradoxes. The most striking is that, while universities and employers agree that it’s increasingly important for graduates, there’s little agreement on what it means.

The Global University Employability Ranking is based on survey results from 3,450 CEOs in international companies, who agreed that a candidate’s job eligibility consists of a mix of job-related competencies such as relevant experience, high degrees of specialisation, and at least two foreign languages.
