Denmark ranks among the world's most peaceful countries
The newly published Global Peace Index for 2020 ranks Denmark number 5 out of 163 countries.
Denmark is, yet again, one of the most peacefull nations in the world. Denmark ranks in the very top as number 5 and is only surpassed by Iceland, New Zealand, Portugal and Austria.
With a rank as fifth most peacefull country Denmark maintains its position in the Global Peace Index. So does the other top 5 countries.
Europe is the most peaceful region
163 countries are analysed and ranked. And the index shows that Europe is the most peacefull world region
The results of the report also show that the level of global peacefulness, unfortunately, deteriorated. But Denmark kept its overall score (and in fact increased it a tiny bit).
