Meet the new Prime Minister of Denmark
There is a new 'Sherif' in Town: Helle Thorning-Schmidt became Prime Minister of Denmark on October 3, 2011. She is Denmarks´s first ever female Head of State
The new Danish Goverment consists of the following parties:
- Socialdemokraterne (The Social Democrats),
- Radikale Venstre (The Danish Social-Liberal Party), and
- Socialistisk Folkeparti (The Socialist People’s Party)
Prime Minister, Helle Thorning-Schmidt was born 14 December 1966, is married to Stephen Kinnock and has two children
