Description

The rapid development in modern communication technology requires rapid development in acquiring skills for both individuals and companies. The mICT programme is an international multidisciplinary continuing engineering education programme that gives you the opportunity to develop your knowledge and your skills. The main disciplines covered in the education are: technology, applications and economy of ICT. Throughout the education, there is specific focus on three main academic areas:

• Networks and services
• Design and users
• Market and business.

The mICT programme is divided in three parts – three ‘trimesters’. Each trimester focuses on a specific theme. Each trimester consists of a number of courses and a project. The trimester project is as important as the courses. In the trimester project, knowledge acquired in the courses is applied on a specific case of your choice. In the Master's thesis project, you focus on a specific problem by combining knowledge from the courses and projects. The total workload of the master's programme equals one year full-time university study, and the study activities are distributed over one or two or three years part-time study.

A trimester in a:

• full time (one year) version of the education is equivalent to 4 months
• part time (two years) version is equivalent to 8 months
• part time (three years) version is equivalent to one year.

About the Degree

The Master in Information and Communication Technologies (mICT) is an international Master's programme at Aalborg University designed for you who work in the ICT industry and want to attend a Master's programme outside of work. The courses are mainly given in the evening and during weekends.

Admission  

You must have a good command of English, which at least must be equivalant to English level B (Danish high school level) or one of the minimum test scores from e.g. the TOEFL or IELTS tests. Read more about the language requirements.

Tuition

EU/EEA citizens: €9,600 (2 x €4,800 (one-year full-time), 4 x €2,400 (two-year part-time), 6 X €1,600 (three-year part-time)).
