Description

Would you like to find new materials for medical uses or manufacture cheaper solar cells for electricity production? And are you interested in developing catalysts to reduce air pollution or secure clean drinking water? Or maybe you are intrigued by the development of nanomaterials?

Chemical and biotechnological processes are significant factors in today's modern and technological society. You will study issues within analysis, production, and control regarding environment, energy, food safety, and development of new materials.

As a Chemical Engineer you will take part in the technological developments for the future. In this programme you will learn how to design, control and regulate chemical processes, and you will be able to use your knowledge to impact the world we live in.

Career Opportunities  

With a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology you can continue your studies on a Master’s programme in the fields of Chemical Engineering, Bioenngineering or Oil and Gas Technology. Your future work place may then be a consulting engineering company, a production company, a ministry or maybe you would like to become a Phd student at the university or at a research institution.

Tuition

There is a tuition fee for all full-time degree students who hold a citizenship from outside EU/EAA/Switzerland. Students within an exchange programme are not required to pay tuition.

Aalborg University Esbjerg is a section of Aalborg University located in the city of Esbjerg, Denmark. Aalborg University Esbjerg is a research department with a range of research activities and study programmes.
