Description

The Multimedia Design programme is a 2-year higher education for people who would like to get knowledge and skills within user interface design (UI), user experience design (UX), digital content, programming and business understanding. You’ll get a high academic level and hands-on work consisting of sketches and exams.
 
In the degree programme, you will work with planning, management and completion of multimedia projects. You will learn to apply communication theories, narrative techniques and means of communication and you will acquire practical experience with programming and improve your skills in concept development and design.

The teaching alternates between classroom teaching, assignments, cases, workshops and last, but not least, project work. For each semester, we spice up the teaching with a number of inspiring presentations and lectures by representatives from the business community and research institutions.

Career Opportunities  

The multimedia designer is trained to work with digital design, user experience, front-end development and front-end design. A multimedia designer can combine text, sound, pictures, animated graphics and video so that the message is effectively presented by way of any interactive media.

You are therefore qualified for jobs within the fields of planning, designing, controlling and implementing different types of multimedia productions. Multimedia designers will be employed within various business sectors, typically within digital media.

About the Degree

The Academy Profession programmes combine theory with practice and are suited for employment in business and industry. In some programmes, students have the possibility of a top-up degree in which they continue at a bachelor level within a prespecified or related field.

The AP Degree has a top-up specialisation resulting in a Professional Bachelor Degree in Digital Concept Development in English. Other options are available in Danish if your Danish language skills match the requirements.

Admission  

To be admitted to this programme, you must hold a certificate showing adequate qualifications in Mathematics at an upper level comparable to Mathematics level C of a Danish upper secondary examination.

 

In addition, documentation will be required to verify that you are able to pass a standardised English proficiency test at a suitable level of competency (e.g. IELTS 6.5).

Tuition

There is a tuition fee for all full-time degree students who hold citizenship from outside EU/EAA/Switzerland. Students within an exchange programme are not required to pay tuition.
