Description

The BSc ASP teaches you to work with international business economics in an Asian context. You will be given intercultural as well as language skills in Chinese or Japanese that will enable you to navigate better in the Asian business environment.

Career Opportunities

You will learn to communicate in a foreign language and gain a cultural understanding of Asia in general and specifically in your relevant country (China/Japan).
You will get an understanding of economics and international relations – specifically how international conditions affect the Asian region and vice versa.


Graduates are equipped to work in the fields of international marketing, intercultural communication, organisational development, strategic management and development projects in positions such as sales managers, product advisors, business and media consultants, area managers, controllers and international liaison officers.  

About the degree

The Asian economies and the Asian markets continue to grow. Companies are not only moving their production to Asia; they are also looking at Asian countries and companies as trading partners in other ways. The Asian Studies Programme gives you the competences to deal with the situations and problems that a company may experience when they are doing business in countries that are so different in terms of economics and business structures, but also culture.

Admission

To be qualified for admission to the Bachelor programme at CBS you must have succesfully completed an upper secondary education and fulfill the specific entry requirements.

Tuition

There is a tuition fee for all full-time degree students from outside the EU, EEA or Switzerland.

Students within an exchange programme are not required to pay tuition.
