Globalisation is connecting businesses and organisations all over the world. Managers and specialists do not only need to be skilled in economics and business administration; they also have to be able to understand and deal effectively with cultural differences and diversity.

The BSc BLC teaches you about the international business environment in combination with language and cultural studies of specific regions of the world.

Career Opportunities

The programme is designed to equip you with broad socio-cultural knowledge combined with strong language skills in English and either French, German or Spanish. It  teaches you to critically analyse modern business practices and problems as well as to understand the global dynamics that shape companies and organisations. Finally, it improves teamwork skills and teaches you to communicate with people with different backgrounds.

These are highly valued qualifications when working e.g. in the EU, the UN, in commerce, management, (foreign) politics, marketing, NGOs, communication, or when posted  abroad. The BLC equips you to be part of any international organisation or business.

This solid, interdisciplinary foundation makes a good starting point for a Master’s Degree in an area of your choice. Whether you want to specialise in the direction of business, marketing, communication, language or something else, you will be able to see it in a wider context.
