Campus Roskilde

Description

ZEALAND Campus Roskilde is located in Greater Copenhagen, approximately 20 minutes by regional train from down-town Copenhagen.

The Campus Zealand in Roskilde has a long and proud history, but offers modern and study-friendly facilities.
Its tradition dates back to 1869, where Zealand was founded as Roskilde Business College. The college has been an important part of the educational sector in Roskilde for more than a century. In 2008, Roskilde Business College became part of Zealand, the fifth largest academy in Denmark. Zealand in Roskilde is located in the city of Roskilde, which is only 20 minutes by train from Denmark's capital city, Copenhagen.

Campus Roskilde is the largest campus in Zealand Academy, and today we have more than 1,000 students in total – a number that is increasing every year. Roskilde has today developed into being one of the most important educational hubs in Denmark, and the institutions as well as the students benefit from a strong and diverse educational environment.

The study environment Campus Roskilde allocates a lot of resources and attention to catering for the growing number of international students. We have a modern study environment for international students, with stimulating academic learning, combined with elements of general education, social competence and forward-looking teaching methods.

Zealand in Roskilde supports and caters for international students as they are studying and learning in a different educational environment than what they are used to at the same time as  having to live in a completely new country and new surroundings. Furthermore, we support our students in reaching their study goal, and the teachers conduct individual talks with the students, giving each student the opportunity to discuss learning goals, career goals etc. We call it SDI – Student Development Interviews.

At campus Roskilde there are many student driven organizations that focus on both social and political activities. Here, interested students can influence both the campus and the academic life. Students are also responsible for the parties and the cafés on campus via the infamous Zealand Zoo Bar.

The city of Roskilde The city of Roskilde is one of the larger cities in the Zealand Region and it has a vast history to its name as one of the oldest cities in Denmark. Roskilde is associated with the old kings and queens of Denmark, and it plays a major part in Danish Viking history. Oh, and of course Roskilde hosts the world famous Roskilde Festival – the biggest music festival in Northern Europe.

Its rich history and colorful cultural life makes Roskilde a very exciting city to live in. So whether you fancy art, castles, music, golf, swimming, skateboarding, skiing, horseback riding or want to try a formula one-simulator, Roskilde has it all.
