Description

At Material Science Engineering, you will learn about materials technology, logistics and finance, and have the option of joining different electives within material science and product design.
As an exchange student, you will be joining the fourth semester of our full degree programme Materials Science and Product Designs. You can choose between a textile speciality or a furniture speciality and will also have classes in innovation, business development and project management.

Admission 

VIA University College expects international students who wish to take part of their degree course at VIA University College to have completed the first year of their degree course at their home university.

Your home institution must have an inter-institutional agreement with VIA University College in order for you to be able to apply for an exchange programme at VIA.

If your home institution does not have an exchange agreement with VIA, please contact your international office to learn more about the opportunities.

Tuition

Exchange students do not pay tuition.

Campus Herning accommodates one of the largest design and business academies in Scandinavia within the furniture, fashion and lifestyle sectors and students come from all over the world.
Campus Herning offers a number of design programmes in both Danish and English and works closely together with the fashion industry as a whole as well as the many fashion businesses located in the area around Herning.
