Description
This Master’s programme is a response to growing global demand for anthropological insights which can be used strategically when navigatingglobal and local markets.
The focal point of the first year of the pro-gramme is to build a theoretical and metho-dological basis for later fieldwork, and for your future career in marketing. You will therefore learn about the analysis and understanding of markets, as well as cultural and economic networks, which drive resource circulation.
You will also get anthropological insights in contemporary business and technological systems, as well as anthropological analysis of market systems. In addition, you will acquire knowledge about the foundational theory of marketing and consumption.

Entry Requirements
To apply for the Master’s degree in Market Anthropology, you need a relevant Bachelor’s degree. You can apply if you hold one of the following degrees:- BSc in Economics and Business Admin istrationfrom University of Southern Denmark
- BSc in Economics (Business Economics) from University of Southern Denmark.
You can also apply if you hold a similar Bachelor’s degree including a minimum of 75 ECTS within the fields of economics and business administration, which has at least 5 ECTS within each of the following subjects:
- Microeconomics or Managerial Economics
- Accounting
- Corporate Finance
- Marketing
- Organizational theory
- Statistics
If your degree does not fulfil the entry requirements, the study board will decide whether you can follow one or more supplementary courses.
Admission
There is open admission for this degree programme. The rule regarding open admission is applicable only to those of you who have applied before the application deadline.Applicants will need to document English at B Level or equivalent to this level.

Tuition Fees
