Description
With a degree in Mechatronics, you will help create user-friendly and intelligent products that combine mechanics, electronics, and embedded systems. For example, it could be a robot hand that can pick a tomato or an artificial foot that can be used by athletes.About the Programme
During the programme, you will work with the development of mechatronic products, i.e., intelligent products that include mechanical, electronic, and software-based solutions such as drones and power steering. The programme provides you with broad technical knowledge through basic courses in mechanics, electronics, programming, mathematics, and physics. During the programme, you will have the opportunity to specialise via electives, your internship as well as in your graduation project. The programme also provides you with knowledge within mathematics, physics, mechanics, electronics, programming, power electronics, thermodynamics, mechanical engineering and much more.Career Opportunities
The focus of the programme is product development. This opens up job opportunities in companies in development and sales of mechatronic systems. With you broad basic knowledge and your core competences as a mechatronics engineer, you are able to perform a range of tasks in the company.Typical jobs for mechatronics engineers:
