Description
If you are interested in acquiring relevant professional competences, studying new innovative teaching approaches in an international study environment and doing fieldwork in Danish Schools, then the International Class in Teacher Education exchange programme is perfect for you!The programme will provide a close look at Danish school culture, from both a theoretical and practical perspective. This includes a two week field study at a Danish primary, lower secondary school or a bording school, giving you the opportunity to see how Danish students learn in various environments.
Students at International Class in Teacher Education choose 3 course modules among subjects such as physical education, general teaching competencies and 21st century English skills - providing international outlook and a fresh take on the teaching profession. Graduates will be able to structure and design devlopment and teaching plans with international and intercultural perspectives.
Study start early February and late August - precise dates will be announced at least 3 months in advance.

Admissions
The minimum requirement to apply for the course is to have passed the first two semesters at bachelor’s level at your relevant university or another institute of higher education.With regards to language proficiency, it is required to have an English level, spoken and written, equivalent to B2, according to the Common European Framework.
Your home institution must have an inter-institutional agreement with VIA University College in order for you to be able to apply for an exchange programme at VIA.
If your home institution does not have an exchange agreement with VIA, please contact your international office to learn more about the opportunities.
