Description
Join the Physiotherapy exchange programme for an international exchange experience and get a deeper understanding of physiotherapy on a professional and personal level. The exchange programme is planned individually for each studentAs a physiotherapist you will come into contact with a lot of different people. Therefore you have to be ready to use and give a lot of yourself, both mentally and physically. The exchange programme can combine theory and clinical training, where you get to work with people of all ages and all walks of life. Physiotherapy is about health promotion, prevention and treatment.
Depending on the length and composition of your programme, you will gain knowledge of body and movement and learn about treatment and prevention of muscle and joint injuries. Teaching typically includes physical education and movement, anatomy and physiology.
The programme is offered at Campus Holstebro or Campus Aarhus N.
As the programme is planned individually for each student, study start varies.

Admission
We only accept exchange students that are already studying Physiotherapy, and you need to have completed two years (the first four semesters) at your home institution.Your home institution must have an inter-institutional agreement with VIA University College in order for you to be able to apply for an exchange programme at VIA.
If your home institution does not have an exchange agreement with VIA, please contact your international office to learn more about the opportunities.
